We are very pleased to be able to offer our Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates as three study options. Online with face to face workshops,  live streaming taught in your own home or our face to face attendance option. Our Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates is delivered by our international presentation team tutor,  Gill Cummings-Bell, Lorraine Young, Alex Proctor and Jo Everill-Taylor. You can attend this course fully in the comfort of your own home or face to face in our studios in Edinburgh or Maidenhead.  Which ever is your preferred study method you can now take your Pilates Diploma instructor training.

Option 1 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates Blended Face to Face Attendance £1495

You can take the Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates (accredited by  Active IQ,  AIQ) as a blended programme with your theory and practical modules as an online programme that you can study straight away and in your own time, together with your practical 4 day programming and delivery practical module taught by face to face attendance in our Maidenhead venue in Berkshire.  These face to face teaching days will give you that rounded hands on experience of working with the Pilates Method, other students and our international team of tutors.

Option 2 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates Live Streaming Attendance but at home £1295

You can take the Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates (accredited by  Active IQ,  AIQ) as a blended programme with your theory and practical modules as an online programme that you can study straight away and in your own time, together with your practical 4 day programming and delivery practical module taught by live streaming from our Maidenhead venue in Berkshire but you login on the attendance days from your home or home studio on your own computer. The best of both worlds. Fully taught but in the comfort of your own home.

Option 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates Full Online Programme with One Day Attendance at a formative workshop day in either Edinburgh or Maidenhead £895

You can take the Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates (accredited by  Active IQ,  AIQ) as a full online programme with your theory and practical modules as an online programme that you can study straight away and in your own time, together with attendance on a (minimum) one day face to face formative workshop module and a one day practical assessment day in our Maidenhead venue in Berkshire or our Edinburgh. Study in your own time at your own pace but benefit from the formative workshop where you can touch base with the tutor and other students and get hands on and feedback to help you with your delivery of the Pilates Method. A great cost effective option with ongoing support. You can also ask for a one tutorial at any time.

This Pilates Diploma instructor training course gives you the best of both worlds. A classical mat Pilates Diploma combined with the latest research on restorative movement and the traditional Pilates Method. It has been developed by our leading clinical physiotherapist and international Pilates coaches. You can build this module towards your Fully Comprehensive Diploma one module at a time or flow them altogether from the start.  You can complete this qualification as the Classical Mat Pilates Diploma course or as a Classical Mat Pilates Diploma with extended course modules. These modules can extend your teaching repertoire. The classical mat pilates course teaches you the Joseph Pilates classical mat method of delivery of the 34 classical mat positions with, and without small mat equipment. You will learn how to apply the genius of his method to your teaching and how to sequence the exercises through the mobility phase through progression into the full classical mat position.

We are currently offering the full face to face (Option 1 Above) Pilates Diploma certification together with two additional programmes with no additional cost.  Your full Online Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Post Natal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition so that you can teach pre and post natal clients using your Pilates method and your Children’s Fitness and Pilates course which allows you to teach 5-15 year olds using your Pilates method. Everything you need to be fully qualified in Pilates and teach these groups and individuals.

We also offer an extended course with two choices of how to extend your diploma.  You  will attend the same full mat Pilates teaching days, the pre and post natal online training and the children’s fitness and Pilates course and in addition you can choose:

Option 1: You can extend your course by adding The Therapy Exercise course. This course will teach you how to adapt your Pilates method for clients that present with musculoskeletal conditions.  This will cost an additional £500.

Option 2: You can extend your course by adding The Foundation Studio Reformer certification. This course will teach you the stage 1 and stage 2 repertoire from the MK Pilates training stage 1 and 2. This course will not only qualify you to teach studio reformer one to one classes. This will cost an additional £500

The Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Mat Pilates Diploma and training is exactly the same diploma and training days which ever option you choose. The difference in the extended option is the additional certificates.  If you prefer different modules to build your programme please do let us know as we can bespoke the programme for your needs. You can also combine two level 3 programmes together.

HOW LONG DOES THE CLASSICAL MAT DIPLOMA EXTENDED COURSE LAST?

All of the modules above for the Classical Mat Diploma and in addition the 3 extra modules below

• Option 2: Foundation Studio Reformer Certification – 3 days

WHO IS THE COURSE SUITABLE FOR?

• Individuals 16 years or over
• Those wishing to pursue a career in teaching Pilates both to individuals and in group sessions
• Individuals already running sessions but lacking a formal qualification

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE NEEDED?

• No qualifications or experience are required to take this course however you must have been attending pilates classes as a participant for a minimum of 8 weeks prior to the start of your practical training days.
• If not already a qualified fitness instructor you can also take the level 2 anatomy day without charge.  These are included in the price of the full course

• Multiple-choice theory exam(s)
